Gail Burnett is a dynamic, yet 'real-life-relatable' speaker who lights up a crowd to get them moving and thinking creatively. In addition to bringing her trademark enthusiasm, Gail brings a wide range of experience in music, business, and early childhood to the time she's with your education and child enthusiasts! She is a 20-year veteran of children's music education, children's entertainment, teacher trainer, and a classically-trained professional improv/studio cellist and vocalist. Gail puts her fun and introspective music/movement, early childhood music brain development, and using music effectively in the classroom at the national NAEYC conference, the Georgia, Ohio, Indiana Chapter affiliates, and most recently the Keynote at District 6 Georgia Preschool Assoc, NIA-AEYC (Alaska) and Keynote opener IAEYC (Indiana). Her band has six CD’s including ACTIVE BODIES, ACTIVE MUSIC, ACTIVE BRAINS, which is a 2015 TEACHER’S CHOICE award winner, 2016 Parents’ Choice Award Winner, and 2016 Grammy Ballot nominee.
Gail also brings her presentations to teachers in private school settings, public school Pre-K and K programs.

Whether you consider yourself a “musician” or not, you can be a musical teacher in the classroom and use it to aid in successfully shaping the classroom day! We’ll look at how children’s brains develop related to music and tools you can use to guide them in this “hands on” training. Teachers can have confidence to explore ways to transition through the day using good music and classroom tested techniques including songs which cover several aspects of curriculum: Welcome, Circle Time, Transitions (including a new clean up song!), Music and Movement, Naptime, and Goodbye.
